Dinaka
Private Game Reserve

About Dinaka

A 40 000 hectare (100 000 acre) exclusive private Game Reserve on the northern boundary of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve. Dinaka is home to an extraordinary diversity of desert adapted wildlife, in the heart of the Kalahari Desert, a 60-million-year-old biome.  This ever-changing thirstland gives refuge to the Black-maned Kalahari Lion, Leopard, Cheetah, Brown Hyena, Honey Badger, Cape Fox, Porcupine, Oryx and Springbok, just to name a few. A destination known for its high-density desert wildlife sightings, observed frequently within the reserve and who come to slake their thirst at the network of pans and waterholes has established Dinaka as the premier desert wildlife experience to complement the savanna-oriented wildlife of the Okavango Delta.
