Ker & Downey Botswana is proud to launch Kanana Nyana, located in one of the Okavango Delta’s most productive wildlife areas bordering Moremi Game Reserve, opening 15th October 2026.

Every element has been meticulously crafted to create an atmosphere of quiet serenity, where space, light and materiality work in harmony to immerse guests fully in the tranquil surroundings of the Okavango Delta.

The camp name Kanana Nyana pays homage to the Setswana word for small, celebrating the rarity of exclusivity with a maximum of eight guests.
Embedded in our enduring philosophy of balance, Kanana Nyana celebrates both the grandeur of the Okavango Delta and the intimacy of detail. From sweeping, visceral views across shimmering waterways and expansive plains to the weathered timber arches framing a gateway entrance to each thatched suite, the camp harmonises scale with subtlety.
Drawing inspiration from nature’s unending colour palette, each suite’s decor is unique, celebrating the sage green, subtle pale -yellow and dusty pink hues woven with other layered textures of this pristine wilderness. Each thatched suites’ decor draws inspiration from the ancient forest in which it is nestled, reflecting some of the Okavango’s great trees – the Marula, Sausage, Ebony and Mokolwane Palm.
